National Indoor RV Centers is looking for an experienced Staff Accountant to assist our team in keeping our company numbers and budgets on track with unwavering accuracy.  We are a premier full-service RV company that values lasting relationships with our employees, customers, and the community.

Dealership experience within the automotive or RV industry is strongly preferred.  This is a hybrid role; a successful candidate must be able to work in-office, two (2) days per week.  
   
       
As a Staff Accountant, you will:     
  • Be responsible for accounts and finance reports, and may perform general bookkeeping, payments, budget analysis, invoicing along with dealing with tax or other governmental reporting.
  • Produce financial and accounting reports, forms, documents, and files to assist the Accounting Manager or CFO upon request. Works with all management teams concerning accounts and maintains accurate files. 
  • Perform multiple inventory related tasks.
  • Assist in preparation of monthly commissions.
  • Perform general ledger account reconciliations, verify accuracy of data, and report, identify, and correct errors made by both internal and external personnel.
  • Support timely monthly and year-end financial close, including assigned journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations, accruals, and overall maintenance of all operational management accounts.
  • Assist in providing schedules and commentary with respects to operating maintenance accounts results and variances, and with the production of working capital, cash-flow reports, as well as applicable commentary.
  • Maintain and update records and reports for profit and loss, taxes, liabilities, and assets.
  • Prepare special financial reports as requested by management by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
  • Execute general ledger account reconciliations, accurate reporting, and data verification, enabling senior staff to analyze options and make financial decisions aligned with company objectives.
  • Monitor policies and procedures for assigned departments and identify and suggest improvements for accounting reporting and recording procedures.
  • Assist the Accounting Manager with special projects and tasks as needed.
       
       
Qualifications:      
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business accounting, or finance or qualifying experience preferred
  • Must have 2- 4 years of professional accounting experience in a dealership 
  • Must be able to work in-office, in Lewisville, TX, 2 days per week
  • Dealership experience required (Auto or RV)
  • Familiarity with accounting and corporate finance principles and procedures
  • Pursuit of Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is a plus
  • Experience in audit accounting
  • Knowledge of GAAP
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Office Suite; especially Excel, Teams
  • Ability and willingness to keep and maintain confidentiality
  • Desire to continue to grow through continued training

  • Proactive and open-minded attitude with ability to resolve problems and deliver results
  • Excellent multi-tasking and time-management skills, with ability to prioritize tasks
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail

Working Conditions:      
  • May require extended periods of computer exposure.
  • Usually will work a standard 40-hour week, potential for some extra hours during month end close.
